Non-Riding Horse Membership

You don't have to ride or own a horse to enjoy having horses in your life.

The Mine Creek Farms Non-Riding Horse Membership gives horse lovers the opportunity to spend regular, hands-on time with our horses without the expense or responsibility of horse ownership.

Whether you've always wanted to be around horses, used to have horses and miss them, aren't comfortable or physically able to ride, or simply prefer keeping your feet on the ground, this membership was made for you.

Primary Member — $150/month
Additional Immediate Family Members — $50/month each

Bring your spouse or children (5yrs and up) and make horses something your family can enjoy together. Additional participants must be immediate family members of the primary member.

• Grooming and brushing approved MCF horses
• Leading and hand-walking
• Basic horse handling
• Learning about horse care and behavior
• Getting to know different horses and their personalities
• Spending one-on-one time with your favorite horses
• Enjoying time at the barn and around the farm

No riding is included with this membership.

New to horses? That's okay!

We'll help you learn the basics of safely approaching, grooming, leading and handling horses. New or inexperienced members may require supervision until they're comfortable and able to safely interact with approved horses.

You don't have to be working toward riding or horse ownership. Sometimes just being around horses is enough.

The health and well-being of our horses always comes first. Mine Creek Farms determines which horses are available for member interaction based on their health, temperament, workload and individual needs.

Members must follow all MCF safety and horse-handling guidelines. Children must follow supervision requirements based on their age and experience.

Membership access is during approved Mine Creek Farms hours.

This is a recreational, non-riding membership and is not a horse lease, riding lesson program or therapeutic service.

You don't have to own one.
You don't have to ride one.
