Horses for Sale

SOLD - Lightning $5500

Woody - Speedywood Arapahoe $4000

A white horse drinking water inside a barn.

For Sale – 18-Year-Old Grade Quarter Horse Gelding
(Dentist Verified Age)

If you’re looking for a true ranch-type gelding with experience and heart, here he is.

▪️ Approximately 15 hands
▪️ Super thick built with big bone
▪️ Long, full mane & tail
▪️ Excellent, strong feet – barefoot or shod
▪️ No soundness issues. No maintenance required.

This gelding is the real deal and has been there, done that.

✔️ One-hand neck rein
✔️ Opens gates
✔️ Side passes and spins
✔️ Rope off him
✔️ Crosses water, logs, bridges — will go through or over anything
✔️ Experienced trail horse
✔️ Has been camping many times
✔️ Leads, loads, ties, bathes
✔️ Loves having his feet trimmed

He is very gentle minded but has a big motor and is handy broke, so he’s best suited for an intermediate rider or above. He has lots of go and can cover the miles — he never seems to get tired and has handled some long rides with ease.

Honest Notes (Full Disclosure)

• Slightly sway backed. It has been a non-issue for us and he has been easy to saddle fit.
• When we purchased him, his teeth were in very poor condition (could not eat hay). He has since had his teeth done and is now eating hay well.
• He currently requires a good amount of pelleted feed to maintain weight. After another dental, he may be able to maintain on less pelleted feed.

⸻

This is a seasoned, solid gelding with a lot of try and experience. He deserves a good home where he’ll be used and appreciated.

Available to a good home only.
Lots of videos available upon request.

SOLD - Bo

SOLD - Henry

Person standing behind a brown horse on a tire platform outdoors.

Bo, a big-hearted gelding looking for his next easygoing partner. Bo is the definition of a steady trail mount – been there, done that, and still loves every minute of it. He’s a trail veteran who’s been camping, swimming, and even worked a full summer at a Boy Scout camp, carrying complete beginner riders on guided trail rides. He was the favorite for good reason!

✅ Pros:
Bombproof trail horse – calm, confident, and unflappable

Kid-safe – happy to walk along all day with zero drama

Easy keeper – maintains weight with no fuss

Barefoot with strong, healthy feet

Ties, loads, bathes, good for the farrier and fly spray

Rides in a hackamore

Loves water – swims daily in the pond and even enjoys bareback water rides!

⚠️ Considerations:
Bo has arthritis in one hip and shows a noticeable bob at the trot. He’s comfortable at the walk, which is where he shines as a reliable trail partner. His hip was injected about 60 days ago and he’s on daily Equioxx. The injection didn’t make a big difference, so future injections may or may not be worth it. He’s happiest taking it easy and deserves a home that appreciates his slower pace.

Bo is truly a great horse with a kind personality and tons of experience. If you’re looking for a relaxing trail partner or a safe mount for kids or beginners who just want to walk and enjoy the ride, Bo is your guy.

Looking for a reliable, easy-going trail partner? This 11-year-old mule stands 14.2 hands and is the definition of solid. He’s a walk-trot kind of guy who’s happy to follow along quietly or confidently lead the pack.

Super friendly and personable, he’s always the first to meet you at the gate and is very easy to catch. Great ground manners and a true pleasure to be around.

Previously used for mountain packing trips in Colorado and night-time hog hunts, he’s surefooted, brave, and experienced. Crosses water, mud, downfall, and hills without hesitation. Kid-friendly and great with his feet, he also loves getting his ears scratched.

Perfect for someone who enjoys slow, relaxing trail rides with a calm and steady partner.

The only quirk? He’s not a fan of fly spray. He’ll let you apply it, but he’s visibly uncomfortable with it.
